When Jeff Bezos announced that his moon rocket would be called the Blue Moon Lunar Lander, Blue Moon couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capitalize on this moment.  ELLURE partnered with LG&P and Blue Moon to create a groundbreaking broadcast and social media campaign tied to a real-world environmental installation.  LG&P/Synergy crafted 50 replicas of the lunar lander—each with a twist: they could hold a keg of Blue Moon beer!

 

As the landers rolled out to bars and restaurants across the country, ELLURE captured behind-the-scenes footage, showcasing the events and highlighting key influencers and passionate Blue Moon fans. This content brought the campaign to life and kept the excitement buzzing.

Once the landers were ready, we took the reins to script, animate, and video edit a 3D model of the custom Blue Moon Lunar Lander, bringing it to life for this broadcast ad.

The campaign generated over 40k views on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, proving that with the right combination of creativity, strategy, and execution, Blue Moon was able to land a huge success in both the digital and real world.
