ELLURE developed three compelling brand concepts for American Airlines, with Concept 1 emerging as the top choice. This concept featured 18 impactful broadcast and social ads, perfectly capturing the essence of the brand and its vision.

The pandemic amplified customer frustration with air travel, so we proposed a bold shift in mindset—transforming the commuter experience by reimagining travel as seamless, effortless, and even exciting!

Targeted Persona: Sports Fans

The “Passionate Sports Fans” are largely comprised of young professionals. With this idea, ELLURE aimed to disrupt their commute, encouraging them to choose American Airlines for their sporting getaways and to reinforce brand association between American Airlines and sports.

 

Concept #1: Never Miss a Moment

Concept 1 consisted of a broadcast campaign that creatively highlighted the commuter transforming their location, from the airplane commute to their favorite sporting event.

Concept #2: Where do you REALLY want to go?

Our idea was to have the train station transform to look like the French Open.  We designed our pitch around Roland Garros and even planned to serve French cuisine.
